Attanasio Family Field at Murray Stadium
Brown University Athletics recently completed construction of a new baseball stadium in November of 2016, and opened for the 2017 season. The $5 million project for the baseball/softball complex, entirely donor-funded, features a synthetic turf playing surface to replace the existing grass field at the same location of the Erickson Athletic Complex.
The updated facility includes sunken dugouts, a tension netting backstop system, expanded batting tunnels and bullpens, and a new and improved scoreboard and press box. In addition, the grandstand at Attanasio Family Field at Murray Stadium includes chair backs and bench seating, while enhanced sight lines behind the mesh backstop provides a first-rate viewing experience for fans.
